I give it 5 stars because for [$] you won't find a better deal! It does exactly what it is supposed to do and also helps you concentrate on the board better since there is black around it, just like when you turn off the lights while watching a movie. I haven't had a problem with it falling off even thought it only rests over your board. But I will recommend this backboard to everyone who has there own board!

This backboard gets the job done: it protects your wall from stray darts. All you do is open the box and slip it over the dart board. However, the backboard tends to slip down and leaves a hole about a 1/4 inch big below the dart board that some stray darts can find.
You should consider spending the extra money for a real backboard for a more complete and professional look. But for the price, you can't complain.

I didn't give any thought before having my dart board secured to my apartment wall. Glad someone thought of this backboard. BUT those little bumpers were useless. They slipped right off and I tried using some glue to keep them on but I need to try a better glue. I am going to use some heavy duty two sided tape to keep this backboard in place and secure it so there is no space at the bottom of the dart board.

The peel and stick wall bumpers fall off immediately, like as you're hanging it up. So you clean them off and use a good quality, as in flammable, contact cement. Also applied some rubber tubing over the top of the board for this to rest on so it centered nicely which makes a great visual aid when throwing and tipping simultaneously. Balance in this game is everything. Didn't come with the assistant either. Did not mention she was not included! Maybe some day, eh?

I'm not a great dart player and we rent our house, so I'm glad I bought the backboard to protect the wall from stray darts. The bumper/feet on the back could be stickier, but I can just super glue them on. Fits nicely around our dartboard, too.
