    This back board IS the BEST on the market, yes, its pricey, but compared to what all else is out there is very well worth it. Its very easy to install comes with everything you need to get it going, also get a cool Dart-Stop Backboard sticker. The Halex board we bought fit like it was made for this backboard. The dart board fits snug to the backboard and there is PLENTY of room all around the board for those less than perfect throws.HaHA aAs you can see in the picture , we mounted ours on our back door in the computer/Laundry room. Its a metal door and i used 3 1x4's to mount the backboard too. Kinda Redneckish, but overall I think it turned out well.

    It is well constructed and looks great. HOwever, it is not the same material as a dart board so unless the darts strike exactly with the right speed and head on, they bouch off. I had expected the darts to pierce the backboard as easily as they do the dartboard. It does protect the wall, but now I have to put a rug under it to protect the floor from bouncing darts.

        Don't be put off by the price. It's top quality and the money it saves on drywall repairs will pay for itself in the 1st day.

        Installs easy with (1) phillips head screw driver, pencil & tape measure. I had it up in less than 5 minutes.

        Looks great and adds a bit of professionalism to our dart kit.

        I cant imagine that this would ever wear out, but, if I ever had the occasion to buy another, I would buy this product again without hesitation.

        You will not be dissapointed.

        My husband was skeptical when I told him I ordered it. He was pleased when he opened it. He was very happy with the look and the easy installment. Many hours of fun with our friends. We usually go to their house for darts, as they have a big cabinet set-up. They were impressed by our set-up and were surprised at how little space it needed.

            Q1: What is this made of?

            A: Our backboards are made of 5/8 inch thick composite panels. These are composed of a combination of hard and soft wood chips which are bonded together with pressure, heat and glue resins.

            Q2: Can a dartboard cabinet be mounted to this?

            A: We would not recommend mounting a dartboard cabinet to this backboard. Backboards are specifically made to be compatible with dartboards alone, not cabinets.
