I bought this for my son who lives in Florida. When he opened the box and started to hang the unit, he noticed a hinge was broken. He had already gone to the trouble of hanging it up so attempted to fix it as best he could. I think he should return it for a replacement but I think he doesn't want to part with it. It definitely is not right, though. He said the board is excellent!
