Darts & American style!

The Classic Widdy American Style Dart Board is an official, double-sided, tournament dart board. It features a playing area constructed of very tightly wound rolled paper. Due to a patented manufacturing process, these boards are proven to last twice as long as the original American style boards, which are made of wood. When a dart is thrown into this board, the paper opens up; when the dart is removed, the paper closes back up. To keep the board fresh, rotate the inner target circle.

Any lightweight steel tip dart may be used with this board, but we recommend the Widdy darts, which are constructed of wood with real turkey feather flights (darts sold separately).

Growing up in PA, this is the only Dartboard seriously played upon. Bars and clubs used this board 90% of the time and when you see a pub board it was generally scoffed at. Now I live in San Francisco and the Widdy board is never seen. every one out here uses Pub Boards. so I am a biased toward the Widdy Board and though I am sure that Pub Boards have there following, I feel the Widdy is superior and very Americana, the only Benifit of the PUB board is that you can find that version at a cheaper price. (at the cost of having it made overseas and inferior in Quality) I cant believe the Widdy isnt as popular on the west coast vs east coast. Playing Darts out here is like being invited to play poker to find out they actually play Pinochle.

Had searched the internet for the Widdy dartboard. Originally ordered it from another company, who shows it on backorder...with no delivery in sight....so found this company and bought the last one in stock. Paid an additional $50 for it and it came with the paper framing ripped in several places. Would have sent it back except that it seems to be the last one anywhere. Great dartboard, just disappointed in the condition since it was put in an upscale game room.

Center target is loose from surrounding frame. Seems like it will fall out if not careful.

Service and delivery comments:

Poorly packaged. Wrapped in 1 thin sheet of paper in a box with too much room so it bounced around.
