Barrels are for gripping, and come in assorted sizes, shapes, and materials. The shaft comes in different lengths, styles and colors. The flight provides the drag needed to connect to the target, and is commonly made of feathers, fabric, plastic, nylon, and metal.

Branded for Flight Bottelsen's Hammer Head darts hammer dart points into the target, then retract the dart tip after impact for reduced bounce-outs. Soft-tip hammer head darts are designed for easy grip and easy control; spinning shafts allow for closer groupings on the dartboard. Unicorn is synonymous with world champions - these are easy to toss, well balanced darts that are worldwide favorites. Halex Bristle darts have 80% tungsten barrels and are designed for electronic dart boards. The Halex line of darts offers quality at an affordable cost, beginning with their 18-gram steel-tip darts.
If you're shopping for Black Widows, they are offered in 20-, 23-, and 28-gram weights. The Black Widow offers a rough black oxide coating on the point to reduce bounce-outs. Black-coated barrels are 90% tungsten, shafts are Spider Leg, and points are Alamo MP - fixed. Soft-tip laser darts come in 18g and 20g weights; black or gold widow fixed-point steel-tip darts are sold in 20-, 23-, 26-, or 28-gram weights.
