I throw a lot, in competition, and at home. I own both the Black Widows, with the weight end loaded, and the Gold Eagles, which are balanced. I prefer the Eagles, but either dart is terrific.

The Eagles were a gift, and I purchased the Widows. I have not regretted this once. In fact, I am ordering the Silver Eagles, which is why I am here on this site. (Can't help myself, I love these darts!)

Unlike the Hammerheads, which require a lot of maintenance, and which have a lot of little things that need T.L.C., and replacing, these darts are like the energizer bunny. They just keep going. Expensive?? Guess that depends on your outlook. A lot upfront, but after weighing it out, over time, simply a very inexpensive dart. I have owned the Eagles for almost thirteen years, and the Widows for just over twelve years. I bought additional MP's when I bought them (Get the Movable Points), so other than rubbing alcohol (to clean the points every now and then, they get gummed up), and some extra Alamo Shafts I haven't spent one dime on these darts, and you likely won't either.

This dart is nice and slim and has a smooth flight pattern. the flights are different than pictured but still very nice.

Man, let's put it this way, I am at the bar 7 nights a week. I'd be there 8 if there were that many... NE WAYZ, I throw about 33-35 hours a week and these darts not only look tight and right but they feel NICE FOR THE PRICE. look, the way I see it, they would be a bargain for twice the price. so. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE SPEARS TO ANY THROWER P.E.R.I.O.D..

Love them.
Only thing is the flights are actually different than the one's shown above. They just have a different picture and say widow on them.
