Description

The superior craftsmanship of Bottelsen Hammer Head GT III Steel Tip Darts has made them some of the most coveted among professional dart throwers for over 25 years. This set features three darts, each crafted using 90% tungsten, and each featuring a streamlined design with unprecedented flight characteristics for truer flight trajectory. Bounce-outs are virtually eliminated, thanks to a no-bounce steel tip and an enhanced Hammer Head feature, which retracts the dart tip back into the body upon impact with a bristle board. The forward motion of the dart then hammers the point into the target and keeps it from bouncing out. The set includes everything you need for the perfect match - three extra flights, two extra shaft sets, deflectors, and a faux-alligator case for easy and stylish portability.     I have these in black and in 25 grams, these darts take a little while to get used to, but when you find how you like to throw them, they fly exactly where you throw them. Even though they are only 25 grams these things hammer into the board like 30 grammers! The one thing I didn't like was the spinning shafts, they made the dart waggle in the air. The grouping these darts are capable of is amazing! My game has improved ten fold since purchasing these darts!

    I used to live in San Luis Obispo and played league matches in college against some of the guys that make these darts in Santa Maria CA.

    After about an hour of playing with these, I had beaten all of them and fell in love with then.

    They are different, I can understand some of the poor reviews. I dont think they are for everyone and I think folks should try before you buy.

    The only thing I dont like is that the shafts on them are hard to find.
