The forward motion of the dart then hammers the point into the target and keeps it from bouncing out. Great darts. Didnt like the spinning shafts but overall nice darts. Purchased dimplex flights and switched the points to where the shafts are supposed to be placed.

This purchase was an upgrade from the 23gm Bottelsen Great White. I wanted to test out the spinning shaft and movable tip. The movable tip definitely reduced bounce-outs, but don't expect 100% elimination--there will be bounce-outs every now and then. I don't care much for the spinning shaft and it's good that the set came with regular (no-spin) shafts which I now use. Initially, I had problems with inconsistent, fishtail flight pattern so that was pretty much the only negative for me. I found the solution by replacing the original flights with dimplex ones. Dimplex flights slow down the darts and tremendously improve flight pattern, making for clean, solid landings. I also feel that the spinning shaft makes for less precise throws that's why I don't use them anymore.
