Materials in the Barrel
Of all soft tip darts, those with barrels made from brass generally cost less than some other darts with barrels made from chrome, copper or tungsten. Brass is a soft metal, very heavy, and tends to show signs of wear more quickly. At the other end of the spectrum, tungsten soft tips have barrels with smaller diameters. They are slim, heavy and easy to throw. However, keep in mind that lighter soft tip darts are the usual choice for many electronic board games.
