My son had one like it and we ordered it on his advise. It is great fun. The bounce outs may be due to our lack of experience. The dart tips have not broken but the flights started coming of in the first few games. I finally glued them on and some have still came off so I glued them even more. Built my own case from white oak I cut in the NC mountains.

Tips don't break as often as my last board. I don't see where the few broken tips went: no plugged holes!
My last board was a Sportcraft that was less than 1/2 the price. It's software was better: this resets the setting when turned off, very annoying is the high volume when turned on. The low volume setting is too loud.

The voice response on this unit is terrible.
When playing against the computer, it takes 38 seconds for the computer to throw 3 darts and swith the control over to the player.
This is very frustrating.
Even when playing another person, it takes so long for the computer to anounce your shot, that only the first shot gets announced.

Dollar for dollar, one of the best deals out there for an electronic dart board. Why pay over $230.00 for the 8000 when this board has everything a dart person needs for almost half the cost? I know, I've owned them both. Easy enough installation instructions. All the games are there, even comes with starter darts. A great deal with fast shipping.

Sent a dart board that had clearly been purchased by someone else, returned then sent to me. Dart board did not work correctly, I'm guessing that is why it was returned before.
Called Hayneedle they gave me # to call the dart board company which then sent me a new one.
